かりがね小学校バスケットボール部　オンライン交流会

7月13日（火曜日）は、かりがね小学校のバスケットボール部の子どもたちとオンライン交流会を行いました！

質疑応答や選手によるプレーの実演を行った後には、絵本作家でもあるケイラ・アレクサンダー選手による自作の本の読み聞かせの時間があり、子どもたちは真剣な表情をして聞き入り、選手から子どもたちへ贈られたメッセージに嬉しそうにしていました。

また、子供たちからオリンピックでの活躍の期待を込めた手作りの金メダルがプレゼントされ、選手たちは一足早い金メダルを手にして喜んでいました！

 

On July 13th (Tuesday), we had an online exchange party with the basketball team members of Karigane Elementary School!

Keyla Alexander, who is also a picture book writer, read aloud her own book to the children, and the children listened with a serious expression.

At the end, there was a message from Keyla Alexander to the children, who listened happily.

At the end of the exchange event, the children presented a handmade gold medal with the expectation of success in the Olympics, and the players were delighted to get the gold medal a little earlier!
