About the Museum
Kariya City Museum of History opened its doors on March 24, 2019 as a facility that can provide opportunities for visitors to come into contact with, see, touch, experience and learn about the history of Kariya. The building houses three exhibition rooms, including History Square (a permanent exhibition room), Festival Square (a festival exhibition room) and a featured exhibition room, and also a reading room where visitors can read materials and books owned by the museum. We collects and investigates not only local historical materials but also materials related to Kariya, which are scattered all over Japan. These materials are introduced to visitors through exhibits.
